Since I was working the booth at Stitches, I didin’t get much of a chance to really look and shop much (that is a good thing for my wallet). I did slip in a few purchases during breaks and found some lovely things.
Gorgeous 2 ply silk and merino lace yarn from RedFish Dyeworks, in black and pale grey. I am working on a new knitting pattern that uses both of these beauties.
Two skeins of worsted superwash merino wool from Phydeaux Designs, in Beach Glass and Blood Orange. I love these colors together and I am not sure what I will do with them. Brenda’s fabulous yarn and her colors reminded me of a candy store. I also have been wanting to try out the Addi Swing crochet hooks and snagged on of those in 5.5 mm size.
The highlight of the weekend was picking up a copy of Ysolda’s new book, Saturday Treat, and getting it signed by the lovely author! Last but not least, two patterns from Coco Knits, Veronika and Sabine. I do always try to stop by the Coco Knits booth because I like a lot of her designs and she has samples there for you to try on.
Then I was totally spoiled by Erin, since I helped with the set up and take down of the booth she gave me some Hazel Knits yarn! I mentioned this to my hubby; he laughed, shook his head and said that he married a yarn whore. That maybe true, but at least I get the good stuff. Yarn pictured (from left to right): Entice in Ruby Love, Artisan Sock in a Rouge one of a kind color, and 2 skeins of Artisan Sock in Carnelian.
